1. The main and auxiliary materials used in the fan coil units shall meet the corresponding design requirements, have the certificate of approval and have higher quality, so as to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment.

2. The installation is not a simple matter. In order to ensure the overall beauty and smooth operation, firstly, the surface of the air outlet should be horizontal, flat and vertical. The air outlet should be set in the area where people mainly move and there should be no obstacles at the air outlet.

3. In order to avoid blockage , a filter should be installed at the water supply of fan coil units.  Vent valves and drainage devices shall be set at relevant positions of the fan coil unit water system to ensure the normal operation of fan coil unit equipment.

Fan coil unit construction steps:

Step 1: Hoist the horizontal fan coil unit. Pay attention to fixing work. At the same time, in order to ensure the condensed water can flow out smoothly, it is necessary to ensure that the water pan slopes to the drain pipe by more than 5 degrees.

Step 2: Start the installation of the fan coil unit. Seal the installation between the water pipe and the fan coil unit. At the same time, pay attention to protect the fan coil unit pipe to avoid cracking caused by overexertion.

Step 3: In order to reduce the blockage of  pipe, the next step is to install the filter, which needs to be installed at the inlet of the fan coil unit pipe and the chilled water pump.  It is suggested that the water should be softened to prolong the service life of fan coil units.

Step 4: Install corresponding valves at the inlet and outlet of the fan coil unit, and connect the power supply and switch of the fan coil unit in strict accordance with the electrical schematic diagram.  Pay attention to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements during installation and connection.

Proper installation  is necessary to ensure the normal operation of HVAC equipment.  Of course, it should be noted that it is not enough to install fan coil units, and other work should also be done well.
