It is a common practice in the design of air conditioning systems to select fan coil units according to the maximum cooling load of the air-conditioned room. The purpose is to ensure the room temperature during peak load. Most of the time the air-conditioned room is running, it will not be at peak load, causing excess cooling capacity. Instead, it switches to medium and low-range operation to reduce the cooling output, thereby maintaining the thermal balance of the room. When selecting a fan coil unit, in addition to the cooling capacity meeting the calculated cooling load requirements, it is also required to meet the matching of sensible heat and latent heat to meet the room heat-humidity ratio requirements; the air volume must meet the supply air temperature difference, number of air changes and air flow organization and other usage requirements.

As the terminal equipment of central air conditioning, the quality of fan coil determines the indoor air conditioning effect.
At the same time, its cleaning problems also directly affect the use effect of central air conditioning. There are many dust particles in the atmosphere. Under the action of long-term extraction and return air, the aluminum fins of the fan are filled with dust and dirt. At this time, on the one hand, it affects the heat exchange between the chilled water and the hot air, causing the air temperature to drop; on the other hand, it affects the temperature of the air; On the one hand, it also affects the delivery of cold air that has been cooled after heat exchange, resulting in the phenomenon that the air conditioner is turned on but the room is still not cold.


Because the central air conditioning host sends 7-degree water into the fan coil after cooling, and exchanges it in the fan coil to become 15--16-degree cold air, which lowers the room temperature.
