Fan coil units are usually used to adjust indoor air parameters for heating or cooling. As the terminal equipment of central air conditioning, the quality of fan coil unit determines the indoor air conditioning effect, and the construction technology and quality requirements of fan coil unit determine the indoor air conditioning effect.
Installation requirements of fan coil units
Measuring unreeling → installation of fan coil unit hanger rod → fabrication, anticorrosion and installation of supply and return water and condensate pipe hanger → installation of fan coil unit → installation of return pipe → installation of condensate pipe → fabrication and installation of air pipe and insulation → insulation of supply and return water and condensate pipe → distribution of fan coil unit
Key points of fan coil unit construction technology:
1. Fan coil unit, supply and return water and condensate pipes shall be provided with supports and hangers independently. The forms of supports and hangers, lifting elevation, tray inclination and gradient of condensate pipes of fan coil unit shall meet the design and use requirements. The slope of condensate drain pipe of fan coil unit should be greater than or equal to 8‰ when the design is not specified.
2. The connection between the fan coil unit and the pipeline should be elastic or soft (metal or non-metal hose), and its pressure resistance value should be greater than or equal to 1.5 times the working pressure. The connection of the fan coil unit hose should be firm and should not have strong torsion and flat pipe.
3. Fan coil unit air supply box, air return box, air conditioning water supply pipe and condensate pipe shall be insulated. Insulation wood supports shall be provided between the hanger and the hanger.
4. The connection between fan coil unit and air supply pipe (box) and return bellows shall be tight and reliable. In order to facilitate the commissioning and maintenance of fan coil units, communication should be made with the fine decoration unit to confirm the location of the access opening.
Fan coil unit construction quality requirements:
1. Before installation of fan coil units, check the fan shell and surface exchanger for damages, rust and other defects, and conduct single machine test run and hydraulic leak detection and pumping test, and make records.
2. Fan coil units shall be subjected to hydraulic pressure test one by one. The test strength shall be 1.5 times of the working pressure. Observe for 2 ~ 3 minutes after constant pressure. No leakage is considered as qualified.
3. Hanger fan coil unit installation must be smooth and firm, the position is correct. The suspender should not swing freely, and the suspender should be fastened with double nuts when connected with the tray.
